Starting June 29th, Hydro Ottawa will be conducting cable and transformer replacement work in the area. The replacement and installation of 12 new transformers will impact a total of 250 customers. Each replacement will require planned power interruption of 6 to 8 hours in duration impacting 8 to 50 premises/customers each. Customers impacted by planned power interruptions related to this project, will be contacted by Hydro Ottawa at least 72 hours prior to the power interruption taking place, by phone, text, email and/or written notice delivered to their door. Customers will also be notified if the power interruption is to extend beyond the original duration time. In case of adverse weather, the power interruption maybe re-scheduled. À compter du 29 juin, Hydro Ottawa entamera des travaux de replacement de câbles et de transformateurs dans le secteur. Hydro Ottawa procédera au remplacement et à l’installation de 12 transformateurs, ce qui touchera 250 clients au total. Les remplacements nécessiteront une interruption de service planifiée d’une durée de 6 à 8 heures et touchant entre 8 et 50 propriétés ou clients. Les clients touchés par une interruption de service planifiée dans le cadre de ce projet seront contactés par Hydro Ottawa au moins 72 heures avant la coupure de courant; ils recevront un message par téléphone, par texto, par courriel ou encore un avis livré directement à leur porte. Les clients seront également informés si l’interruption de service doit se prolonger au-delà de la période initialement prévue.
