Seeing more of our neighbours make the switch to electric vehicles, I was proud to join MP Marie-France Lalonde and Councillors Scott Moffat and Tim Tierney to announce that the first public electric vehicle charging station in Orléans will be built at Bob MacQuarrie Recreation Complex.
It will be ready for use by winter, and will be the fastest charger installed in the City of Ottawa to date.
Grâce à un investissement dans notre communauté de 50,000$ de Natural Resources Canada, les résidents d’Orléans auront une borne de recharge pour véhicules électriques (VE) près de chez-eux.
Investing in our community is a commitment I made to you when I knocked on your door. I continue to work collaboratively with our partners at every level of government in pursuit of more funding, helping to make Orléans a community where we love to work, live and play.
