The City is looking for feedback on potential tree planting options within the Ottawa River Pathway, located at 6317 Radisson Way. The areas for potential tree planting are located north of Voyageur Drive between Fairwinds Terrace and west of Radisson Way. The community has the opportunity to select where future tree planting and reforestation could take place within this stretch of the Ottawa River Pathway. This survey proposes general tree planting and reforestation locations. A detailed planting plan by Forestry staff would be created as an outcome of this community survey. A maintenance plan is also presented within these options. This community survey does not address tree planting through-out Ward 1 and is limited to this specific location. La Ville sollicite l’avis de la population sur des options pour la plantation d’arbres sur le sentier de la Rivière-des-Outaouais, au 6317, voie Radisson. Les secteurs visés se trouvent au nord de la promenade Voyageur, entre la terrasse Fairwinds et la portion ouest de la voie Radisson. Pour la communauté, c’est l’occasion de choisir où la Ville pourrait planter des arbres et reboiser sur ce tronçon du sentier. Le sondage propose des options générales, de même qu’un plan d’entretien. Par ailleurs, le personnel des Services forestiers se servira des résultats de ce sondage pour produire un plan de plantation détaillé. À noter que le sondage porte sur la plantation d’arbres dans le secteur circonscrit, et non dans l’ensemble du quartier 1.
