Registration for the Fall 2025 edition of Cleaning the Capital is open now! Cleaning projects will take place from September 15th to October 15th.Thanks to the support of our local Community Associations and engaged residents, the spring campaign was incredibly successful with 1025 registered clean up projects and more than 47 000 participants.
The online registration form is available at ottawa.ca/clean. Residents are encouraged to check out the interactive map prior to registering to view the locations and dates of all registered projects in their communities. Participants can choose to clean public spaces such as parks and greenspaces, roadsides, shorelines, or even areas around bus stops. Every clean up project helps keep our city clean.

On Saturday, September 20th the Kin Club of Orleans is collecting food and cash donations to support the Compassion Centre Food Bank. This Orleans organization is the only food bank that distributes to the community in the K1C postal code.Club members and volunteers will be collecting donations door-to-door in selected parts of the residential area in the K1C postal code. They will collect any items left out on your doorstep on September 20th. If you live within this area, you can expect to see some flyers coming your way the week of September 13th with more information.
